Hello again I've recently found the newest version to Digital Insanity, the infamous keygen for Sony products. (v2.2)

Keygen instructions for Sony Vegas Pro 12:

1) Download and install Sony Vegas Pro 12 (64bit) @ http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/trials/vegaspro.
DO NOT RUN VEGAS PRO AFTER INSTALLATION. [Try to download the newest build if prompted]
2) Run Keygen as Administrator (try to).
3) Select product from drop-down list.
4) A series of serials will be generated.
5) Click Patch and select the application's installation directory. (for example C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 12.0) and then click ok. Do the same thing for the 'Shared Plug-Ins'.
6) Now run Sony Vegas. You will be prompted to enter serial number. DISCONNECT FROM INTERNET IMMEDIATELY.
7) Copy and paste serial generated from Keygen.
8) Select '... from another computer' option.
9) Copy and paste authentication code from Keygen. (Enter your whatever particulars. NO NEED FOR ADDRESS, only name and email required)
10) DONE!!!

      i didn't connect to the internet when i tried to patch the file. i already find the right installation directory but it still says 'an error has occured when patching the files!'

      probably you need to redo a clean install and turn off any antivirus programs running.

    I've got it downloaded and when I try to run it, my computer says it's a weird file type and needs to search to find the program to use to open it.

      It should be somewhere in the Program Files under C: drive.

      Hmm, I have never tried that, maybe they just added it in so its not 100% guaranteed to work, you can Google it up too, but thanks for pointing it out! ^ ^

      Probably you need to uninstall the program completely and reinstall again.

      Maybe you need to do a complete uninstall and then a clean install again with admin rights?

    Um so I patched it and when I tried to use the serial code but everyone it generates says it that the serial number is invalid. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me

      i think the only possible explanation is that you didnt complete the process from the patching to the verifying of serial code in one go, so a full uninstallation followed by another installation is required. So yeah, follow all the steps.

    Here's how to make it work : :
    Uninstall again. DISCONNECT from internet before reinstalling! Reinstall AS ADMINISTRATOR (I'm talking about the software here still!). If you have any other Sony software then rename the new /Sony/ folder as /SonyAcid/. Start Acid Pro 7.
    Run Keygen AS ADMINISTRATOR. You know the rest: change the keygen to Sony Acid 7, click Generate, RUN PATCH to ACID PRO 7 INSTALL FOLDER. (Should work now completely). copy/paste Serial from keygen to software. choose country other than US for register form. choose From another computer. Now copy/paste the activation code from keygen to software..

    main thing is to 1. disconnect from internet before install, and 2. run the install software as administrator. Hope this helps!

    Port Scan blocked, I have 2 IP addresses trying to infiltrate my system after downloading this both multiple times, how convenient that you must turn off your virus protection and internet to be able to install as well. 22 malware threats to my system, windows 8.1 and the port scan threats are still coming in. Beware.
